About Us

The authors of this blog are 3rd and 4th generation Grayton Girls. One grew up spending her summers in Grayton, enjoying many hours on the beach, horseback riding through the dunes, and dancing at the store (now the Red Bar) to the jukebox. After spending too many hours driving on crowded interstates, and being so busy she forgot the 4th generation grayton girl at home, she decided it was time to move to the beach to raise her kids. The other grayton girl benefited from the move to Santa Rosa Beach/Grayton Beach, because she grew up in paradise. It took moving away from paradise for school to realize it, and has now moved back to enjoy the many facets of small town beach living.
